Parents Anonymous, Inc.®
is a National Organization that promotes mutual
support and parent leadership in order to build and support strong, safe
families.

on-going, long-term support and education based on their own identified need
for help.

Parents will learn new communication skills,
discipline techniques and effective parenting strategies.

develop a personal support system through a network of parents who assist
each other with everyday needs, including telephone contact, support and
caring.

families through the Parents Anonymous model of shared leadership.

country by participating in the Parents Anonymous National Network's

Ask
and provide what Parents Anonymous® needs to grow and prosper.

every family about Parents Anonymous®. Distribute brochures, display posters
and discuss the program with family members. Adopt and produce Parents
Anonymous® outreach materials for parents.

Invite
Parents Anonymous® staff and parents to provide training to volunteers and
staff through initial and in-service trainings and unit meetings.

Subscribe
to The Parent Networker and distribute copies to all parents.

Provide
funds for the children's program and provide transportation for parents who
are attending Parents Anonymous groups.

Convey
the importance of Parents Anonymous® programs to community members, encouraging
others to support Parents Anonymous® by providing funding, meeting space,
volunteers and in-kind contributions of staff time to facilitate groups.

CHILDREN'S PROGRAM MISSION & GOALS
The mission of the Children's Program is to enhance the emotional growth
and social development of children and youth of all ages by creating an
environment where children can achieve the following goals:

develop coping and problem solving skills

improve self-control

Increase their competencies and build
self-esteem and self-confidence resulting in positive behavior changes.
