About the event
The Effective Black Parenting Program (EBPP)
The EBPP is the country’s first culturally-adapted parenting skill-building program for parents of African-American children. Though originally developed for parents of children ages 2-12, it is now being used by parents of children of all ages. This training is 40 hours and tailored for those wanting to host Parenting Workshops of their own.
The aims of the EBPP are to:
Reduce varieties of parental rejection.
Increase the use of positive parenting practices.
Decrease the use of negative parenting practices.
