Parent Awareness

We promote a family-friendly environment in DC by:

• Partnering with local and national organizations on child wellbeing,  training, public policy, and public awareness

• Promoting National Parent Leadership Month

• Coordinating citywide events for Family Strengthening Month (aka Child Abuse Prevention Month)

• Conducting public service campaigns that promote families

• Featuring community-based organizations (success centers) on public television (DCTV)
